Camp Squanto Facility Descriptions
NOTE: To prevent the transportation of invasive insects, please do not bring firewood to camp. Firewood will be available at camp for your campfires.
Cabins
EAGLE LODGE
This building sleeps 12 on bunk beds. It has electricity and propane for heat. Kitchen facilities include cook stove, refrigerator and microwave. Frost-free water valve is located outside. Restrooms are at the Camp Office.
DAKOTA CABIN
This building sleeps 16 on bunk beds. It has electricity and propane for heat. Kitchen facilities include sink, stove, refrigerator and microwave. An outside latrine and frost-free valve for water are located outside. A fire pit is located outside for campfire and outdoor cooking.
JEFFERSON CENTER
Cub Scouts/Family Camping is prohibited at the Jefferson Center. This building sleeps 14 on bunk beds. This cabin is remote from other buildings at Camp Squanto and is located adjacent to a privately owned Cranberry Bog. It has electricity and propane for heat. Kitchen facilities include sink, cook stove, refrigerator and microwave. An outside latrine is located nearby. Water is available at the Welcome Lodge. A fire pit is located outside for campfire and outdoor cooking.
BLACKFOOT CABIN
This building sleeps 20 on bunk beds. It has electricity and propane for heat. Kitchen facilities include sink, stove, refrigerator and microwave. An outside latrine and frost-free valve for water are located outside. A fire pit is located outside for campfire and outdoor cooking.
CHEROKEE CABIN
This building sleeps 16 on bunk beds. It has electricity and is heated by propane. Kitchen facilities include sink, cook stove, refrigerator and microwave. A fire pit is located outside for campfire and outdoor cooking. Water is available at a frost-free valve located at the side of the Welcome Lodge. Restrooms are at the camp office.
DERBY CABIN
This building sleeps 12 on bunk beds. It has electricity and is propane for heat. Kitchen facilities include electric cook stove, microwave and refrigerator. A fire pit is located outside for campfire and outdoor cooking. Water is available at a frost-free valve located in front of the Health Lodge a short distance way. Restrooms are at the camp office.
Campsites
CAMPSITES
Several campsites are available for weekend camping. THE COUNCIL OFFICE DOES NOT ASSIGN CAMPSITES.
ADIRONDACK CAMPING
This site has 5 screened adirondacks; each sleeps 4. Water is available from frost-free valves and restroom located nearby. Note: There is NO electricity available.
