About the Course
BALOO is a one-day introduction to the skills needed to plan and conduct Cub Scout outdoor activities. Learn about all the fun you can have outdoors! If your pack goes camping, at least one leader on the trip must be BALOO-trained.

- Sign in at 8:30 AM. We'll be done by 4:30 PM.

Course fee: $15 to cover training materials and lunch.
Pre-registration is required (no walk-ins allowed) because the volunteer training staff need a head count to plan and purchase food and supplies. Our registration deadline was June 1. If you missed this course, please check back and sign up for one of our fall courses!
What to Bring
- Wear your Scout uniform
- Small backpack for carrying items during the day
- Personal mess kit (or a plate/bowl) and silverware
- Refillable water bottle and/or travel mug
- Handbook for your level of Cub Scouting (if you have one)
- Notebook/paper and pen/pencil for taking notes
- Sun protection
- Comfortable footwear for walking
- Portable folding "camp chair" (if you have one)
Be prepared; we'll be outdoors!
