About the Course
Learn the fundamentals of running a successful troop, including program planning, the patrol method, advancement, and much more. For Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters, this course is part of the requirements to earn the "Trained" patch.

Register Online
Registration is open! Please register online by October 12. We require pre-registration (no walk-ins) to allow our volunteer trainers enough time to prepare supplies for the course.
Course fee:
- Free for adult leaders registered in Council 251 (Old Colony + Knox Trail), thanks to the activity fee that all of our Scouts pay as part of their annual registration. We'll just suggest a small donation to help defray the cost of refreshments.
- $10 for adult leaders registered in other councils, to cover training materials, etc.

What to Bring
- Wear your full Scout uniform
- Pen/pencil and paper to take notes
- Scout Handbook and Scoutmaster Handbook (if you have one)
- Scout spirit
