About the Course
BALOO is a one-day introduction to the skills needed to plan and conduct Cub Scout outdoor activities. Learn about all the fun you can have outdoors! If your pack goes camping, at least one leader on the trip must be BALOO-trained.

Course fee: $15 to cover training materials and lunch.
This course has already taken place. If you missed us, sign up for our next BALOO course on May 6, 2017, or take our OWL/BALOO combined course on April 29-30, 2017.
What to Bring
- Wear your Scout uniform. If you don't have a uniform yet, wear a pack t-shirt, hat, or whatever you have.
- Small backpack for carrying items during the day
- Personal mess kit (or a plate/bowl) and silverware
- Refillable water bottle and/or travel mug
- Handbook for your level of Cub Scouting (if you have one)
- Notebook/paper and pen/pencil for taking notes
- Sun protection
- Comfortable footwear for walking
- Portable folding "camp chair" (if you have one)
Be prepared; we'll be outdoors!
